Home Reveal | Harmony Creek Bedroom

Our latest bedroom reveal is all about mixing materials to bring style into the bedroom. From an upholstered bed to the metal nightstands & carved wooden console, we’re making a case for ditching bedroom sets and never looking back.

Fun fact: we didn’t change the flooring or the paint color. Cosmetically, everything in this room is exactly the way we found it! It was the great, neutral base that gave us the freedom to style the room exactly how our clients’ wished.

Before: Heavy matching furniture weighed the room down.

We swapped out the dark, sleigh style bed for the Daphne Bed in Cambric Ivory. The Daphne is available in a queen or king, and also comes in a Sage Worn Velvet upholstery option.

To complete this dreamy bedscape, we brought in the Rina Natural and Brax Desert Ivory Pillows. Pro Tip: a little fluffing and a swift karate chop to the top will give your pillows that perfect, Instagram-ready look.

At Scout & Nimble, we are passionate about furniture sets. Well, we’re passionate about not using sets. We love to play with texture and tone so to bring some balance to the lightweight look of the Daphne Bed, we framed it with the Belmont Storage Nightstand. We topped the nightstands with the Marisa Table Lamp + a Vintage White Porcelain Ginger Jar and a Mirrored Jewelry Box

P.S. The Belmont Collection also includes a metal cabinet and and 2 styles of 8-drawer metal dressers. We love the rich, dark tone of the iron combined with the brass hardware. Truly the definition of “wow factor!”

Before: While the previous dresser provided plenty of storage, it took up a lot of space and made movement difficult.

After: The Balboa Carved Console Table is the perfect stage for a gorgeous collection of art & accessories.

Opposite of the bed, you’ll find the Balboa Carved Console. Intricate carved details frame this piece to make it really stand out. Speaking of standing out, we’re obsessed with Black Circles IV. This deceptively simple piece of art is just one of a beautiful collection featuring three other pieces.

Huddled around Black Circles IV are some of our favorite styling accessories. The itty bitty Faux Olive Tree brings a touch of evergreen color to the console while the Stone Doorstop does double duty as a beautiful accent piece and a… well, doorstop.

The New Classics | Three Fall Trends that Last

These three fall trends we’re really loving. What makes them special? They feel a bit off the beaten path, not yet adopted by the masses. They're subtle, which makes them fun to play with and gives them the longevity to create a truly collected space.
