Are you worried that you don’t have enough space to create the patio of your dreams? Forget your worries and learn how we transformed this 250 sq. ft. covered porch into an outdoor oasis our client could enjoy for years to come!

We were so excited when our client from our Flatbranch project reached out to us about their outdoor space. They had 250 sq. ft. to work with, and they wanted a place to lounge, dine, and store their children’s toys.

250 sq. ft. may not seem like a lot of space, but with the right furniture and accessories, we knew we could give our clients the outdoor oasis they wanted.

A Place to Dine

One of our favorite fair-weather activities is eating outside. It’s so relaxing to sip on a glass of lemonade while the sun is out and a gentle breeze is blowing.

For the dining area, we used the Cyrus Outdoor Dining Table and the Bandera Woven Dining Chairs. The Cyrus is so eye-catching, and its sturdy iron legs make it the perfect stable table for the brick flooring.

The Bandera Woven Dining Chair is a gorgeous compliment next to the heavier shape of the table. It is available in two color options and also comes in a lounge chair and bar + counter stool.

Sit Back & Relax

After dinner, our clients can relax in style on the Remi Outdoor Sofa. This 90” sofa is made with tough teak wood and durable outdoor fabrics. We paired the sofa with two Delano Chairs. They also come with an optional ottoman for ultimate relaxation.

We’re suckers for a good end table, that’s why we featured two different styles in this space. The first is the Parish Concrete Side Table. It matches the Cyrus Dining Table perfectly and looks so amazing next to the sofa.

The second table we used is the Douglas End Table. We love how it looks with the Jed Planters. The staggered levels of the table and planters creates a ton of visual interest, especially when combined with some gorgeous fresh greenery. In the middle of it all is the Colorado Drum Coffee Table.

The Finishing Touches

Every space needs a rug, even the outdoors. One of our favorite outdoor rugs is the Isle Brown & Black Rug. The natural colors make it the perfect compliment to the other items in the space while the durable polypropylene looms makes it perfect for the outdoors.

The Phoenix Accent Stool is the perfect place to put your feet up. Whether their storing plants or toys, the Natural Baskets always look good. They are made with recycled plastic so our clients can feel good about their environmental impact.

We had such a great time creating this outdoor space for our returning clients. It was a fun challenge to work with a smaller space and we loved showing our clients that their dreams could be a reality!
