Every season brings a beautiful sense of change and that feeling is no different at Scout & Nimble HQ. We recently refreshed our showroom floor and we’ve been loving the new burst of creative energy it has inspired in our team. Wanna see? We thought so. Say hello to the updated and elevated Scout & Nimble showroom.

When designing this space, we wanted to play around with texture and the juxtaposition of old and new, polished and collected. To us, that meant some incredible new art, a traditional custom sofa, and a ton of visual interest. We laid the foundation with the Lincoln Rug. This ultra plush beauty can also be found in our Hillside Retreat project and we think you’ll understand why we love her so much. The Lincoln Rug is a gorgeous mix of blues, greens, and grays that come together to create a vintage-style rug that wows in any space.

As our team grows, we are always in need of more seating areas. For our showroom update, we wanted to make sure we could squeeze in as many people as possible. First step: a custom upholstered Grace Sofa from Bernhardt. Our Founder, Jesse, chose a light cream 100% Sunbrella performance fabric that will always stand up to any spills. The skirted sofa features a single bench cushion, giving a more relaxed, modern vibe to the classical shape.
Across from the sofa, you’ll find two perfect paired Allister Chairs. The natural teak frame has the most fabulous midcentury modern silhouette while the seat is reinforced with the most popular material of the last several years: rattan. They are rounded out with some seriously comfy off-white cotton cushions.

At the edge of this vignette, you’ll find two Sinclair Ottomans. Remember our boucle obsession? Yeah, we’re still not over it. Perfect as additional seating or a place to prop your feet, these cozy cuties are lightweight and so easy to move around. If you have kids, they will be obsessed with these ottomans and you’ll never have to share a chair again.
Taking center stage is the Vert Coffee Table. This truly unique teak coffee table is made by hand from specially selected pieces of wood, honoring the natural shape and mood of the teak. Each Vert Coffee Table is different because each tree is different, and we love how those differences have created such a beautiful, eye-catching item.

Along the back wall of the space you can spy the cutest cabinet there ever was. The Caprice Cabinet is the storage solution you’ve been looking for. It can fit bottles and glasses for a discreet bar, your vinyl collection, or anything that you need to stash in a pinch. The entire Caprice Collection is gorgeous and we can’t wait to see these pieces pop up everywhere this year.

This space is dominated by neutral tones and natural textures and we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to keep that theme going with three beautiful pieces of artwork. The star of the show is Train of Thought. Abstract and free, this piece is full of fine details that tell the story of an artist’s thoughtful and harmonious progression across the canvas. Nestled on the edge of the wall near the Caprice Cabinet is Inanimate Object I and Inanimate Object VII. This pair features a clear glass matte that makes it look like the artwork is floating on the wall.

For those extra comfy moments, we piled this place high with pillows. The relaxed tones all coordinate so well while the various textures and materials add a little visual candy that you can’t help but cuddle up in.
The Artifact Table Lamp casts a lovely glow as it perches prettily on the Edith Adjustable Side Table. This stone table lamp is the textural piece you’ve been looking for. Give the Edith Adjustable Side Table a little spin to adjust the height and it will be the perfect height for any chair, sofa, or sectional. We polished this corner off with two different styling bead options: the Black and White Batik Bone Beads and the Diamond Triple Lines Kenya Cow Bone Beads. Which set do you like best? Let us know in the comments.

The crowd favorite of this space are the vintage pottery jars. We fell in love with this collection at our Hillside Retreat project and we couldn’t help but bring in a few to our own space. The Four Handles Water Pot is the perfect place for dried grasses or a few stems of fauxtanicals (fake plants for those of us not blessed with a green thumb) while the Small Vintage Pottery Water Jar is sweet as can be. Who doesn’t love a mini moment?
