The headboard features two separate panels that overlap with one another, creating a unique design with contrasting finishes. The larger back panel is made with a matte gray oak veneer, and the smaller front panel is made with a solid matte gray finish. The bedframe is also made of a matte gray oak veneer, nicely matching the back panel of the headboard. While designed for a box spring foundation (sold separately), this bed will also work with a compatible slat system (sold separately).
